Jessica & Kelly’s Wedding- Wedding Photography in Dunlap, TN

This past Saturday I had the privilege of photographing Jessica and Kelly. I had such a great time. The wedding was held on their farm and it has the most beautiful surroundings. The scenery is breathtaking. This was a horse lover’s dream wedding. Jessica and Kelly love horses and it couldn’t be a better match. I hope you enjoy this wedding!

The Ceremony was held outside the barn. Guests were seated on hay bales, and the aisle was lined with red mums. The arch was hand-crafted by the groom and his father, and it was perfectly decorated with fall leaves and tulle. The opening to the barn was draped with tulle and beautiful floral tiebacks.

Wedding-12Jessica gave Jordan (MOH) and her Mother-in-Law beautiful necklaces as gifts.

Makeup was done by the very talented Alicia. You can find her at I highly recommend her!

Carrie & Luke’s Mini Session- Couple Photography in Lexington, KY

So, this is my college roommate/best friend/sister in Christ/sister-in-law, Carrie- AKA Cookie, AKA Friend. I mostly call her Friend. She married Luke, who happens to be my husband’s brother! It’s a pretty awesome to have her as a sister and him as a brother.

Friend wanted some portraits done while I am in Kentucky. So, we went to Raven Run in Lexington. It’s a beautiful nature preserve that I actually hiked a few years ago. A fawn came up to me and wanted to play back then. It was so cute.

When we got there, the trails were closing so we mainly took photos on the path to the Nature Center and around the building. I hope you enjoy these photos, Friend!

Maura & Matthew’s Engagement- Engagement Photography in Louisville, KY

I had the wonderful opportunity on Saturday photographing a girl I knew in college. Her name is Maura and she has found the love of her life, Matthew. Maura is the sweetest person I can remember at EKU. You know the girl that is always smiling and nice to everyone, and are the model of a pleasant person? That’s Maura. She is genuinely super sweet and kind. When I received a message from her asking about wedding photography, I was ecstatic! We scheduled her Engagement Session and we went to the Papa John’s Park in Louisville. I had never been there before and it is beautiful! Trails and waterfalls and simply beautiful scenery.

Coming Up in October…

Thanks for visiting! It’s October, which is a crazy busy time for photographers! Coming up this month is an engagement session, two weddings, and a bridal session. I have three family sessions as well…

I am getting ready for an engagement session this weekend! I’m excited. Maura (the bride) is such a sweetheart! She is my first 2016 bride and I can’t wait for her e-session!

Then I have a Jessica’s wedding in Tennessee. She just so happens to be the sister of Jordan, who’s wedding I photographed in April. You can see Jordan’s wedding here. I can’t wait to photograph Jessica. She LOVES horses and are having them included in the wedding! Did I mention I am excited?

I then have a very special session. My lifelong friend, Beth, is getting married and she just said yes to the dress! I am a bridesmaid and will not be able to photograph (at least the ceremony). So, I am going to have the honor of photographing her bridal session (and perhaps her engagement session?). Congratulations, Beth! I am so happy for you!

Then I have the lovely Victoria and Adrian’s wedding. You can view their engagement session here. I photographed Victoria’s bridal session months ago and have been itching to get them online. So, immediately after the ceremony I am going to post her photos. I also created a commercial for bridal sessions featuring her photos that I will premier across my social media. Can’t wait!

That is what is on the schedule for October! Be sure to check back to view all of the photos!
